LG Electronics - European Headquarters

Following the acquisition of a new building in Slough to consolidate a rapidly expanding R&D department, Hunts Office Furniture and Interiors were asked to help LG Electronics establish their new European Headquarters and to provide a new air conditioning showroom and training centre – all within a tight 11 week schedule and budget.

Northgate Information Systems

Northgate Information Services are situated directly next door to the Buncefield oil depot, which at the end of 2005 exploded to cause several fires in the Northgate building – more than 200 production systems were destroyed, along with the newly refurbished call centre and email hub.

Hunts Office Furniture and Interiors provided solutions for new desking, storage, seating, office screens, reception area seating and bistro furniture, helping to re-house 350 people and a completed installation in just 3 weeks.

Windrush Frozen Foods were looking to accommodate a rapidly expanding wholesale food operation at their Oxfordshire HQ. Hunts Office Furniture supplied a large development office kitchen area, reception and break-out areas and open plan and executive offices over two floors.

The end resulting design allowed for flexible and modular expansion to meet future business development and additional staff recruitment.

    Thales' building in Long Crendon comprises of three floors with five areas accommodating their sales and technical teams. Each zone had to be re-designed to house additional staff, and to avoid any necessary distruption, works had to be completed over a series of weekends.

    Background
    Ickenham Travel Group asked Hunts Office Furniture and Interiors to assist with the relocation of several satellite offices into one consolidated, 10,000 sq ft Head Offices in Uxbridge.

    The works had strict time restrictions and it was necessary to keep any disruption to staff at a bare minimum.

  • Furniture was delivered out of office hours to reduce disruption to other offices in the building
  • Under strict time restrictions, the furniture install was completed within one day, including managerial furniture, break-out and soft-seating areas
  • The site was left ready for occupation and all waste was removed and sorted for recycling.
